In Start Your Scent Journey, I take you by the hand and walk you through the real basics of perfume and attar—without complicated chemistry or confusing jargon. You’ll finally understand what you’re smelling, how perfumes and attars are built, and how to start creating simple blends of your own.

We’ll talk about everything from fragrance notes, accords and families… to the difference between alcohol‑based perfumes and alcohol‑free attars… to the exact tools, oils and materials you actually need (and what you can skip as a beginner).

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

• Smell any perfume or attar and clearly recognise top, heart and base notes
• Understand the main fragrance families (citrus, floral, oriental, woody and more)
• Know the difference between perfume, EDP, body spray and traditional attar
• Choose better fragrances for yourself and others with confidence

• Take the next step toward advanced formulation or even launching your own line
